“Paul was one of my best friends.
He was a guy I’ve known before Slipknot and we were together almost everyday. He was just incredibly gifted, probably one of the best musical minds I’ve ever heard. He was an inspiration to me.
He wrote the majority of the music in the band, but he was never the one to try and take as much credit he could. There was so many sides of him that nobody saw… I guess it just makes me grateful I got to be his friend. He was just an amazing guy and I miss him. I miss that laugh.
I didn’t realize how much I was holding up until when it was almost over and I just lost it, hard.
I just wish he was here.
Not a day goes by that I don’t miss him. His life stills with me. I was honored to be able to make music with him.
